Money Chant

I am a bookworm.  When others reward themselves by going on gimmicks and buying personal stuff like shoes, bags and clothes (I do that too, sometimes), most often than not, I reward myself with a good book when I want to give myself a pat on the back.

I bought this book "Pure Power" from James Lee Valentine from National Bookstore in Manila years back.  This purchase proved to be a boon to me as the book contains numerous positive anecdotes that helped me go through life's ups and downs.  One of the topics discussed in "Pure Power" is Financial Prosperity.

I am a believer that God wants prosperity and abundance for everyone, but we also have to imbibe it, feel it and snatch it for ourselves.  I just want to share the "Money Chant" I read from the book "Pure Power"  with an intention to provide inspiration for those who might need it.  I believe that nothing is ever a coincidence and if you happen to read this blog, just go through the "Money Chant"; after all, it must have been meant for you to read it.

Money Chant

"I am blessed with a new awareness of prosperity and abundance, and I experience a steady increase in material wealth.  Wonderful financial opportunities come to my life daily and an endless supply of money pours to me in many ways.  A golden river of glittering riches flows through my life bringing with it sunshine, happiness and contentment.

Everything I touch is successful and every endeavor in which I am involved brings forth the maximum reward, for I am a good person and I conduct my life with dignity, integrity and noble purpose.  I show generosity and kindness taking full advantage of the unlimited opportunities to contribute to others.  Any good that I can do my fellow man, I shall do now, for I may never pass this way again. I understand that the more I give, the more I will receive.  Divine intelligence supports me in all that I do and the flow of abundance in my life to produce perfect results."

Persistence is the Key!

Life is not a bed of roses. Life has its ups and downs, twists and turns. Sometimes, the turn-out of things differ from our expectations and we become disheartened.

The key to living a positive life is seeing beyond what meets the eye--seeing the good things out of the bad; believing that there's a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.  Tenacity is the key, summed up in this poem written by an anonymous author.

Don't Quit

When things go wrong as they sometimes will
when the road you are trudging seems all uphill,
when the funds are low and the debts are high,
and you want to smile, but you have to sigh,
when care is pressing you down a bit
rest if you must, but do not quit!

Life is queer with its twists and turns
as every one of us sometimes learns,
and many a failure turns about
when he might have won had he stuck it out,
do not give up though the pace seems slow
you may succeed with another blow.

Often the goal is nearer than
it seems to a faint and faltering man,
often the struggler has given up
when he might have captured the victor's cup,
and he learned too late when the night slipped down
how close he was to the golden crown.

Success is silver inside out
the silver tint of the cloud of doubt,
and you never can tell how close you are
it may be near when it seems afar,
so stick to the fight when you are hardest hit
it's when things seem worst that you must not quit!

On Writing About a Positive Life

I started blogging March of this year. With some workload as a freelance events organizer, writing posts for my three blogs did not come easy (Oh yes, this is the fourth!). So, I put on my thinking cap, weighing carefully if I still need one more blog.  I tried to shrug off the idea, but I could not ignore the seemingly endless nudge from within to write about topics that delve on living a positive life.  I can no longer argue; I am rendered powerless.

I made up my mind to write about the positive life because...

-  I want to live from the core of my being;
-  I know I have something good to impart to the world;
-  More than ever, the times call for communicators who will inspire rather than dishearten.

A professor in one of my courses in Graduate Studies said that the role of a communicator is to make lives fuller.  With this, I am living up to the challenge!
